Water Color Art

I always carry my sketchbook and watercolor set with me — literally everywhere. I won’t even go to the mailbox without them. I need the freedom to draw anytime, anywhere: on the train, in the doctor’s waiting room, during a picnic with friends, you name it. My favorite thing to draw is little characters and creatures. Over the years, I’ve filled several sketchbooks with all kinds of treasures — and here are a few of them.

Some illustrations and ideas from 2024.

Some plushies I designed a while ago. I'd love one of these two headed teddies :)

A zeppelin with a charming mustache. I’ve heard that piloting a mustache-zeppelin like this one requires special training and certification.

I drew this figure in 2023. On the Canson  I think the soft colors really come to life on the Canson watercolor paper. Definitely one of my favorite pieces in my collection.

A forest guardian I illustrated in 2023. He protects the woods from danger. No human has ever laid eyes on this creature — this illustration might be the only existing documentation of the forest guardian.

Some other Figures and ideas.

This sketchbook is something special because I bound it myself. The great thing about that is I get to choose exactly which types of paper I want to include. In this one, I used different paper varieties — including black drawing paper. So this sketchbook has both white and black pages.

Some other illustrations I made a few months back.

I'll upload new stuff soon, so stay tuned :)
